Thorns? LUV. Frozen Floral Prints with hints of Blood Red? LUV. Giles Deacon told Style.com his inspiration for this collection was a woman running out of a burning house in an arctic winter. Wah? Exactly the kind of story we expect from Mr. Deacon at this point. Giles continues to make clothes for the eccentric ladies of means. And the kind of clothes I want to collect and hang on the wall as some sort of twisted art. The collection has a wonderful twist of Victorian dress that is has been rearing it’s head since the menswear collections. Lovely.
