There’s all this hoot n hollerin about Raf Simons and all of the emotion around this collection. Did Jil Sander and the company who owns her name handle his dismissal poorly? Yes. Did Raf Simons do a beautiful collection regardless? Absolutely. Put aside all of the crap surrounding this show this season, and you are left with one of Mr. Simons most gorgeous and wearable collections yet. The cashmere car coats in maxi lengths that opened the show are seriously to die for! And the colors are heaven! Soft brown with pink! GORG! WANT NOW! White corset dress with asymetric khaki pleat is beyond. I am just crossing my fingers and praying to the fashion gods that he starts a womenswear line under his own namesake next season.
