Doutzen Kroes April 2012 Vogue Paris forthosewhonotice.com FTWN For Those Who Notice

Welcome to the cover of Paris Vogue’s April Issue.  One of our favorite sexy modules, Doutzen Kroes adorns the cover, but sadly, there’s no inside story with her. Wah! There is a very E Alt story of Arizona Muse with David Sims that we like.  And a classic Lindbergh moment. But I have to say this issue feels a bit like Japanese Vogue… disjointed and scattered. Please Ms. Alt give us chic-ness at French Vogue, we don’t need another fashion magazine randomly stringing stories together with a random model shot on white for the cover. This issue has an exceptionally upsetting clown-inspired couture (?!) editoiral, too.  I have an intense fear of clowns, so no bueno.  This clown couture story, and some of the other moments in the issue make me seriously doubt Paris Vogue’s relevance at the moment. Sad but true. At FTWN, we make a point to not cover things we don’t like, but we had to speak up regarding this issue being that we are such avid fans.  We want to love Vogue Paris, we want to be supporters.  But we can NOT get behind literal clowns.

Dear Mr. Newhouse and Ms. Alt, Please keep Vogue Paris as chic and interesting as it has been for the past 10 years.  Clowns have never been chic. Otherwise you may start to lose some fans like us. XXFTWN
